The Societies for the Future model

Educational Center & School

We offer students within the local micro-society a school environment that is a laboratory of imagination, where every aspect of life is represented. An open environment that blends into the other pillars, where they can co-create, apply, and implement through the 5-D Explore-Design-Invent-Implement model combined with immersive experiential practice (supported by the edutainment platform and media center).

Creative Connection Center

The Creative Connection Center is an inspiring place for events, arts & culture, innovation & business where people can come together, connect, be creative and enjoy the creations of others. There is a stage for inspiring speakers, experts, singers, actors, film makers, and anybody who wants to share uplifting stories or information.

The centers in the different countries work closely together and events in one country can be livestreamed to other centers worldwide.

Media center & Edutainment platform

Every micro-society has a professional audio-visual recording and production studio. Here online media and learnings can be co-created with students, experts, and society members. The studios are worldwide connected and professionally equipped, including the most innovative holographic technology. The studios are part of the Edutainment Platform & Media Center which provides inspiring edutainment to support a transition towards sustainable and holistic living. The educational material will be available as complementary training material for schools as well as for homeschooling purposes.

Biomedical Spa and Vitality Clinic

With the Medical Spa & Vitality Clinics, we revitalize and rejuvenate both the mind and the body by providing the finest and most innovative treatments for mental, emotional, and physical health, intertwined with spa, vitality, and general wellness services.

Building & landscaping

When it comes to real estate, we use new ways of building and landscaping, with respect to nature and the environment, creating spaces with a lot of light and developed with natural materials. The buildings enhance the health and vitality of the people living and working in those spaces. These innovative approaches are also part of the curriculum of the education platform.

Innovation center for regenerative farming and green tech

In the innovation center we help small & medium-sized farms to increase profitability and sustainability by implementing ecological innovations and processing. Thus, motivating and educating the younger generations, to continue the family farming business. Some key focuses are: no-waste, cradle-to-cradle & recycling, green energy production, water purification, regenerative farming, bio-fertilizing, and animal health.

Nature preservation & animal care

The Society for the Future Network understands, practices, and promotes a balanced co-existence of people and nature. Education for ecological understanding of nature conservation and biodiversity is key. The implementation of these principles in a micro-society is a must. This ensures the integrity of the society and more over extend the impact on the surroundings, to amplify the “harmonious” way of living in all directions, preferably on an international scale. Special projects are set up for reforesting as well as sheltering of injured wildlife with a view to rehabilitation so that they can be released again in the wild.

Business & local Entrepreneurs

Every micro-society has a design factory, as well as a craft workshop that will support the start-up and operations of the society.

Apart from the businesses and activities as described above, every society has its location specific industries and commerce. These creates employment and generates income for the society. Resulting in a win-win between local entrepreneur and the micro-society.

An integrated and holistic approach

Within the Society for the Future model all experts in the different Fields of Expertise combine their expertise’s to create an integrated and holistic approach.

This means, e.g., that although every micro-society has a vitality clinic, every building in society is designed to enhance the vitality of the persons living, working, or educated in it. A healthy lifestyle are basic skills thought in every pillar. This means also that every expert is part of the core development team of the several pillars and not solely responsible for their own pillar.

New education is the heart of the Society for the Future as this model is developed to support and protect new holistic schools as true laboratories of imagination .

Societies for the Future - Suriname concept

Every micro-society functions as an innovative hub for the region and shares its experience and knowledge internationally within the Societies for the future Network. This way it has a ripple effect on the areas and country in which it is active. There is an intensive collaboration with local schools, local entrepreneurs, and local communities.

This results not only in education for children, teens, and adults, but also employment opportunities, economic growth, access to banking solutions, high well-being, and a healthy living/working environment
